Shawn Roberts attended California College of the Arts and Crafts from 2000-2004 receiving a BFA in Jewelry/Metal Arts studying under Susan Wood and Marilyan Da Silva.  With years of experience in fine jewelry and metal fabrication he has never lost his main skill set of meticulous craftsmanship.

Damascus steel rings have been Shawn's main focus starting in the back parking lot of his live-work space in East Oakland at the Sunshine Biscuits old factory in 2009. He has created a style of Damascus steel rings that is unique by hand forging rather than machine turning the rings. Through hand forging he has been able to create a one-of-a-kind patterns for each seamless, Damascus ring.
